YouTube Music

If you pay for YouTube premium this should be your primary music app. The algorithms are better because they follow my traffic from here and on and regular YouTube search history. You just think those other music apps are better because that’s all they do. YouTube Music is the same, and it’s one price.

YouTube music is a better alternative to Spotify premium or Spotify free. It’s practically identical and coming from a previous Spotify user adapting to the UI of YouTube Music was very easy, youtube music not only comes with the youtube premium package so when you buy YouTube premium. You also get YouTube music,YouTube TV and other things like that unfortunately the lyrics system isn’t as clean on Spotify.

I beg of you to please, please, PLEASE make it to where I can skip my phone number when I make a new account because it keeps telling me I can’t for some reason, so please let me skip it 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰

Can’t listen to anything on this after October update

okay listen i get they need money to keep up with everything but seriously? making me pay to TURN OFF MY PHONE AND USE IT? you did this with youtube, the least you could do is actually make it so i could use it while my phones off!!!

This is probably one of the better music apps as of right now, especially because the app pairs with YouTube so you can get more benefits. The only complaint I have is the at when shuffling a larger playlist, it is very easy to accidentally click a song and get rid of the entire shuffle without being able to retrieve it so your only option is to re shuffle. Besides that the app is very easy to use, good interface and nice song variety.

This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a review. Today’s date is October 1st 2024, and I’m sure most people are aware of the p diddy situation, and how he has been arrested for extremely heinous crimes. I’ve been seeing hundreds of videos on social media breaking down lyrics to songs by Eminem and other artists who have been trying to let the world know about diddy and other people in the industry like tommy mottola, but the video I’ve seen the most is J Cole’s song “She Knows”. There are countless videos on social media attempting to break down this song and understand the lyrics. What is generally being understood is that J Cole seems to be calling out someone / a group of people for the murder of Aaliyah, Left Eye, and MJ towards the end of the song. People are theorizing that J Cole is blaming beyonce and jay z and the large group of celebrities and artists associated with them, including the p diddy. I’m not trying to present these theories as truth, it is simply what a lot of people seem to agree is the most likely explanation. I just wanted to go into yt music so that I can listen to “She Knows” and look at the lyrics to try and understand what J Cole is saying for myself… but when I searched it nothing was showing up, so I searched up the album, which is called “Born Sinner”, and what do you know, the song “She Knows” is the only song in the album that says “song is unavailable”. Now why would that one song, which I’ve listened to hundreds of times on yt music before diddys arrest with no issues, suddenly become unavailable once people start connecting the dots in that song about corruption and cover up in the music industry? That’s very suspicious. Even more suspicious is the fact that they are censoring “She Knows”, but all of p diddys music is still available… r kelly’s music is all still available too… I would greatly appreciate if someone could let my know why “She Knows” by J Cole is being censored, but not a single song from diddy or r kelly has been censored? Now doesn’t seem like a great time to choose to be on the side of diddy and all the people associated with him, rather than the people who are tired of these celebrities getting away with stuff like this for so long. Any explanation from someone at youtube would be great. The only reason I haven’t canceled my subscription (for now) is because I’ve spent so much time creating my playlists and I would bet that apple music is probably doing the same thing anyways, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Spotify is too. Also theres been a bug in the app that causes it to completely crash and loose all queued music randomly when the app is running in the background but not playing any music, and then when you re open the app, it should open right back up to the music you were listening to earlier, but instead it crashes and loses the queue.

Love the service, love Google, love most Google apps on iOS, but this app is super buggy. Podcasts not rendering their titles/backgrounds, constant pausing glitches for music, etc. Also not satisfied with the search feature. I want to be able to search within a playlist or my liked songs.
